    Are incandescents obsolete?

That’s it! Even nowadays you need incans for tactical (MOUT) purposes, try it: Take an assault-rifle bang a 30 round Magazin in a closed room----and then try to see something with a LED-Light. BTW I love my C2

    Clicky or Twisty?

Depends... -For some lights a twistie is o.k., especially the SF SW01 are great (thumb-only-operation  ). -I like clickies like the bomb-proof SW02 -I hate reverse-clickies :green: Greets Jens

Hello Tom, another forum, same toppic  I recieved a mail from the distributor (on sunday!!), he wrote me, that LUX III are used in the replacement (both?), in a 2nd mail I asked him about both replacements, we'll see in the next days. He also told me, that a similar kit for the 3C...

    Best "walk around" LED light?

For me the HDS 42, with night-addapted eyes bright enough on "low", and in that case a very long battery-life.

    British buyers being ripped off

   John must have a lot of children. Most of the German flashoholics buy in the US, too. But why must you pay custom-fees for goods from the former colony?

I suspected it... Infantery? You look so;) The story is one more reason for me to carry real lights for EDC, at the moment I've a M3T in my rucksack. Greets Jens

Headlamps - How model can I buy?

If you want AAs, then take a look at the Myo XP, I like the Tikkas/ Tactikkas, because I want light headlamps, I don't like headlamps with battery-packs and for my special purpose, when I use them in military-duty these little lights are better to assemble on my helmet or somewhere on the...

Headlamps - How model can I buy?

I have the Primus and Petzls. I paid only 30 € for the primelite, for this it is okay, but the Petzls are better made, for the retail price of 64€ it is to poor quality: Cheap plastic, bad cable-battery-pack-solution, and you will be blinded from the LUX Led without a piece of tape. I prefer...

    Owners of the Inova X1

I have the old Tiros version, build like a tank and very good for some technical purposes (looking in tubes etc). but the extrem-spot is not very practically to use it as an EDC-light. Greets Jens o.t.: Let's party my 100. post:party:

    LED head for Surefire M6

I think a L6 (or M3 with KL6, the same) is much more handily and you have the clickie-option. For the run-time you can put a spares-carier or just loose CRs in your pocket. And a last reason: M6 + KL6 looks:green:

    European LED flashlights (including UK)

Do you Know if Barbo sell factory-seconds:D ? I'm thinking over to spend my holydays in Spain, and so I can combine it with a flashoholic shopping-tour (How should I eplain it to my wife:sweat: ) Greets to Espana Jens

    European LED flashlights (including UK)

I've never seen this light in reality, the description sounds good, but it's even more expensive than a U2, especially when I order one in the US.

    European LED flashlights (including UK)

That's a question I ask me, too. especially because we have some of the world's biggest Illumination-companies here, like Osram, Hella, Bosch or Phillips, but they sell only cheap, $hitty China-lights under their brands:awman: There are flasheholics enough I think, the tactical market is also...

so I got this UV-Led light, and ...

Re: What cool uses have you found for your UV LED light? For testing banknotes a little one is strong enough, the euro glowes very funny under UV-light: 3 different colours, a eu-map,stars and so on. Looked just on one:) Greets Jens
