    Uh oh. The Quark 123 running either 1 or 2 123's has my attention. So here we go, $25 or $70 for a light that will rarely get any use. My primary is my Nitecore and will occasionally use the SF.

    Love my D10. Now that I've got a dozen Eneloops and a Maha 9000, would love a defensive light with strobe in a 2 AA platform. Any recommendations? My D10 gets more use than my SF; just a different kind of "brightness" plus it's quite a bit smaller.

    I've used 100% silicone spray, yet it soon becomes "clicky". What do you recommend for lube on the tube and/or O rings to eliminate this? When new, it was silent and smooth as silk.

    Finally broke down and bought the SF L1 and love it! For 10/65 lumen, it sure has some throw. Build quality is unbelievable. I guess you get what you pay for. To finish out my EDC, I also purchased a Benchmade Blackwood MINI-RUCKUS. A well-teamed pair; they even match!:D

    Thanks, VidPro. Call me a bonehead, but what is 25C? Sounds as if the Costco bulk pack is the way to go for the kids' "noise makers." And if I'm going to use a flashlight with a rechargeable, make sure I'm pulling any "hi cap" from the charger right before I head for the weekend...
