    Dome VS. no dome

From the light intensity graph should I interpret 0 degrees as standing directly in front, and as we move away from the centre the domeless XR-E would be more intense (lux), even with a bigger hotspot?

How many lumens should a bare SST-50 LED make @ 1A?

Hopefully someone will chime in tomorrow. Thanks for your help! So: running a SST-50 P60 module @ 1A for 30 minutes - 203 OTF lumens reasonable (no reflector) Also, should I expect LED damage before receiving the module?

How many lumens should a bare SST-50 LED make @ 1A?

No, I didn't. This isn't my IS, though it is my drop-in. I didn't expect heat @1A to have such an effect. It must have been very hot!! I've asked a re-measurement with just the initial output. Given the low output, do you think the module could have sustained damage during this testing?

How many lumens should a bare SST-50 LED make @ 1A?

Yes, this is a P60 module tested without the reflector. It was run for about 30 minutes - I believe not "in" a flashlight so perhaps it was heat affecting the output. 203 lumens @ 1A is... really low! The OP reflector made 157 and a custom reflector 178.

How many lumens should a bare SST-50 LED make @ 1A?

Thanks! So I'm using this 1A looks about 60% 0.60 X 500-600 emitter lumens = 300-360 1) Now: because this is a bare LED/no reflector (on P60 module) is the emitter lumen spec what should show up in an IS test? 2) Is a measured 203 lumens when set @ 1A for 30 minutes to be...

Bump. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

How many lumens should a bare SST-50 LED make @ 1A?

Re: How many OTF lumens should an SST-50 make @ 1A? Ah.. You are right! I meant to say a bare LED instead of OTF lumens - will change the original post. Thanks.

These ones [DE bin] in a P60 drop-in; no reflector http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=216386 Won't produce much heat left running at 1A would it..?

Advice on where to source these XP-G R5 bins

And, have they ever been made. The 0S, 0T, 0B, and 0C color bins. I've checked the cutter webiste, no luck. I'm not well versed in the overall production run of these LEDs, but just putting this out there...

SST-50: cool blue tints ever produced?

Turns out the DE and DF tints have never been produced.. May not for the near future. If it turns out otherwise that would be superb!

Thanks. Well, I want a throw based drop-in for a C2, so it seems SST-50 is the way to go. Hmmm...

SST-50: cool blue tints ever produced?

Has Luminus ever produced those left of the G3 color bin? I'm aware photonfanatic had those stocked, I have the same one in a smooth reflector but it's kind of creamy colored. No I don't know if under or above the BB locus that will suit me better but have F3, F4, EF, DE, DF ever been...

    Simple SST-50 question

Sweet thanks! Advice is well intentioned; I certainly will not intend to blind and maim anyone in anyway. A man's gotta see for the rest of his life.
