    Newb police officer

I'd say for 1-handed activation of strobe the Eagletac T20C2 Mark II is great! For 2-handed activation 4sevens Maelstrom G5. 1st one is a thrower - but you can switch out the OEM drop-in module (XP-G LED) for one (XR-E LED) that retains the throw. 2nd one is a thrower. There ya go: T20C2 Mark...

What in reality is the good of super throwers without binoculars or a scope?

Re: What in reality is the good of super throwing EDCs without binoculars or a scope? It's the burning feeling in the other persons retinas hahahaha ! In the industry where I worked in previously this is a good attribute.

Looking to Replace my Surefire E2D with ??

The E2DL with an LX2 clip works fine. The extra length of the head and head heaviness is taken care of with this simple fix. This combo rocks! Plus no any pocket damage (at least in my experience).

Blinking, strobe, and SOS modes, have they ever been useful to anyone?

Have you ever used the strobe in such a situation? I personally vouch for a bright high mode with a big hotspot; like an E2DL. It's not that easy to get the hotspot right in someone's eyes, and it's the hotspot that you need to blind someone. In a small handheld light the spill simply ain't...

The Flashaholic's "Must-Have" List -- Cast your vote! PART 2

Re: The Flashaholic's "Must-Have" List -- 449 Votes so far! I havent gone through the whole thread but perhaps the E2DL and E2D votes should be combined. Some of the E2D votes could be meant for E2DL, though I suppose there are E2D users who prefer the incandescent version.

    Tactical light suggestions

Surefire E2DL would work. Look for a CPF discount code. Indoor and outdoor beamshots. Edit: Oops, didn't see the flood part. Olight M20-S w/ OP reflector looks good. Beamshots with T20C2 Mark II.

    P-Diddly and Ashton Kutcher

Frankly, I don't give a #$%* about ashton kutcher. Nor do I care about Diddy. That guys ego is so inflated.. I'm surprised he doesn't just float up into the atmosphere.

    Tactical strobes

I think strobe would be effective in standoff situations, and where one has the advantage of numbers and wishes a peaceful end to a confrontation. One also has to have time on their hands. For example: a few officers surrounding some disorderly guys, or maybe even an armed standoff with a...
