    Mini Mag CE or P4 Sandwiches?

    Where can you get just the MiniMag heatsinks? I'm interested in direct drive on an SSC P4 since the top voltage is 3.8 and Li-Ions usually are 3.6/3.7V flavors. A 14500 and dummy cell would do just the trick.

    Just get the Wolf-Eyes brand cells. They make good contact, don't require magnets, and are worth it in quality. I have those tenergy cells... bad purchase. AW cells are nice, but some of my cells make poor contact.

    I've noticed that when using AW Protected 14500s 750mA (brand new from lighthound), the charger is blinking every so often - this is normal, but it also produces a hissing sound. AW 14500s have overcharge and overdischarge protection, so this thing does have vents, which is why I'm cautious...

    1D's are custom cut-down modifications. Anyway, what's the point of a cover for the 3D mag anyways? There's better lights out there that are worth protecting... Lighter and brighter. Besides, if it gets dinged up, they're cheap to replace and found almost everywhere.

    Hmm, 4 rebels in a L0D-CE... Keychain lights these size are perfect for flood. I don't see how you could possibly have a throw monster in such a small package.

    That's an interesting comparision with the L1D CE... Better host, better quality, less heat, and cheaper - but less output. The throw will probably go to the MiniMag Auroralite TL-3. Looking at flashlightreviews.com shows bigger numbers. AW 14500 and WE LRB-AAs around about the same price...

    Jeebus, $120. Not bad, but it looks like if I scored a good L0D-CE, it will probably be the best deal. It looks close between this and the LiteFlux2. The F-Mini could go either way, depending on price and UI (hopefully it doesnt have one of those 'turboheads').
