    I'm using 12 Elite 1700's pushing a Osram 64633 and have had no problems and good runtime. These should be an excellent battery for a mag85.

    Which way do the batteries go in the tube? I remember something in the old posts about it being different, but digging through the posts I can't locate the info. Does the positive go on the switch end or the lamp end?
