    What you bought Nothing. Haven't purchased a flashlight in 3-4 years. I came close a couple weeks ago looking for a Sapphire. The configuration wasn't what I wanted. What you like and hate I like the availability of the highCRI's and the almost limitless driver options compared to a year ago...

    I have indeed. It's a great time for the AA lights. I'd like to split the middle between your questions: flood or throw? Middle. Close up or further out? Middle. Big, small, or no hotspot? Small. How much spill? Not much. Too far either way isn't my ideal candidate for an all around light.
