Splicing an Olight Tape Switch to a Insight Dual Pad

I have a Insight Dual Pad that works with my DBAL(Laser/IR Laser Illuminator). The second lead works with Insight lights, but I have an Olight PL Pro. The Olight has a tape switch that attaches to the light via a magnetic connector. Thinking it is a switch with two wires, all I need to do is...

AAA Light that Withstand Weapon Recoil

It is more for specific applications. The tritium is fine in a dark room. The problem is if a weapons light is used in a dark room. The bright light washes out the reticle. There is also a lesser issue shooting from a dark environment into a lite one. Nothing wrong with Aimpoints or...

AAA Light that Withstand Weapon Recoil

I also posted on AR15. It is a unusual question. I doubt many people would use a AAA light on a weapon, since there are brighter options. So I am not sure that a weapons sight will be all that helpful, besides I only trust my life to a Surefire response.

AAA Light that Withstand Weapon Recoil

I need a AAA light about a 0.5-0.6 inch in diameter. It can be one or two AAA in length. It will be mounted on an AK47 and needs to withstand the recoil. I am using it to illuminate a fiber optic/tritium optic(Mepro M21). High output is not necessary. Thanks

    18650 Batteries and Solarforce L2

There is a third option, I am an idiot. I tested it in a light with a bad dropin. When I put it in a good light, it worked fine.

    18650 Batteries and Solarforce L2

I bought two Ultrafire 18650 batteries for my Solarforce L2s. Charged them and both of them do not seem to work. The light comes on then goes dim or off. The L2 has the 5 mode module. Am I missing something? They work fine with 123As.

Stock L2 or DX Drop in for Weapon Light

Although in your defense, I would state that pictures of my rifle does elicit the following:

Stock L2 or DX Drop in for Weapon Light

I am planning on using 2 123As. The lights should arrive in the next day or two. What is the benefit of warm light? If the strobe function is right, I was planning on using the memory function to have it automatically come on.

Stock L2 or DX Drop in for Weapon Light

Maybe so. I view the light as an ancillary tool. If it fails to turn on, then I still have a Russian AK with a Kobra sight and a laser sight for close range targets. I am not a police officer, so clearing rooms and a range of tactical situations are not my concern. My main concern is...

Stock L2 or DX Drop in for Weapon Light

Thanks for the response. I like your sig line. It seems that a bright pulsing light would have at least a momentary effect. At least long enough to squeeze off a round or two. Anyways, I can not imagine that it would be a disadvantage.

Stock L2 or DX Drop in for Weapon Light

First, let me apologize for my previous threads. I should have spent more time using the search function. That being said, I did search and could not find an answer to my specific question posed in this thread. I bought a Solarforce L2 with a Cree R2 7090 XR-E LED. From what I read the Lumen...

    Battery

The L2 can either use two 123A batteries or a 18650. From what I have read the 18650 lasts longer and performs better. Is this true? If so, is there a recommended 18650 bettery and charger. Thanks,

    Drop Ins and Batteries

I ordered two L2s and am kinda looking at DX for a better dropin than the R2. The MC-E LED has a voltage input of 2.7-4.2. However the light, like my 6P, use 2 3volt 123A batteries. I don't understand why a P60 drop in would not work with a standard 6P light. What am I missing? Thanks

    Solarforce L2

I ordered two Solarforce L2 with 5 mode R2 LEDs. I will be mounting one on my AK, and using the other as a handheld light. I also have a few K2 based lights I got from Sam's Club. Anyways I have two questions. First, I read that the XPE-WC-R2 is a better LED than the R2. I am thinking...
