    Hi, I have a swatch book from Lee filters. I want to install a filter in my HDS Rotary. But how? I can't unscrew the bezel by hand. The plan was to put the filter between the bezel and what ever comes next under the bezel.

But with the filter held in front of the light you can better see the inhomogeneous light distribution when closer to the wall then half a meter at a medium...

    Why? It is a classic cold white tint. I don't have green in it (maybe only a bit in the lower mode when closer than 20cm from the wall), just standard cold white (xenon HID purple). Nothing to be worried about. Of course it isn't a neutral white light.

    1. The rotary is said to be a little bit less efficient than the clicky 2. The rotary tail cap does compress a bit when pressing the tail switch. makes a mushy feel while pressing the switch fast for double click

    Oh cool, didn't know that you can wear the light horizontally with that holster. Thx! But that is only possible with the normal version, the heavy duty has no holes to turn it 90° because the belt adjustment slits interfere

    Yes you are correct. Only the HDS has a big gap between the emitter and the reflector.     Should you opt for the "normal" or the heavy duty version? You could choose the heavy duty since it is adjustable down to the belt size that is supported by the normal version. But the heavy duty version has a broader plastics clamp.

    I guess my battery is nearly empty, as it doesn't go to the 30 lumen mode any more, it dims. But I am surprised how fast I emptied the cell. That was two weeks. The 2 cells in my 47s 123-3T still work after one year.

    I thought if the battery goes little bit empty the light just steps down a little bit?! My battery has 2,78V Preset B is the rotary mode and I turned the wheel to the lowest setting. When I turn it on it doesn't come on every time in that moonlight setting Or if it is on it wont turn off...

    That is exactly what was happening. I took a new cell with 3,08V and it worked fine without turning off in between. Put the 1st cell back in (which meanwhile has only 2,78V) and the short turn off is there again. I guess I use the 1st cell because it only dropped t 2,78 from 3V. I want to make...
