    Thanks for your fast reply: 1A is between driver and LED indeed. The led is a DSWOI from Amilite.. as far as i know this one has a forward voltage of 3.6v. i won't fry the led by giving it more then 3.6v?

    Der Wichtel, i have a problem with your driver: when i connect your buck driver to 9aa penlites and a p7 (and include current and voltage meters) and set the voltage to 3.6volts, the current meter shows only one ampere. Can you tell me why this is? i think it should show something around...
