    I will wait for a multimode version of the 5A driver for my upcoming SST-50 build. I would love variable output using a potentiometer, but two mode is good also.     Which heatsink is most appropriate for XP-E LED? For XP-G LED? Is it best to have the led pre-mounted on a metal core board, such as a 10mm, to help get the LED centered? Do any of these work with SST-50 LED?

    Are you saying that these percentages are not the current levels, or you just don't know what they correlate to in milliamps? If the max drive current is 1.5a, then if it was percentages of current, it would be 1500ma, 675ma, and 150ma. If max drive level is 1a, then is would be 1000ma, 450ma...
