    P61 lamp assembly vs P60

    The way it was explained to me was something like.... The P61 is not actually brighter, but it does put out a much larger volume of light. I can see this lightin' up an open field. There is a much larger area lit up by the P61 than the P60. I guess it would be better for searching a large area...

    Defensive Light.

    Wow You guys are really getting into this. :) I just bought a Surefire G2 & swapped the P60 for a P61. The plan is... well, as they say in the movies.... "don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes" :huh: 120 Lumens should work Just my $.02 X^ }

    Thanks for the replies! So I gather that the main diff. between the P60 & P61 is that the P61 provides.... 1. More of a flood area = more light = higher total lumens 2. The side benefit of the above is a somewhat brighter light needed to accomplish #1? Thanks X^ }
