    4-AA Holder from RadioShack - DOES - fit D-Mag !

Re: 4-AA Holder from RadioShack MIGHT fit D-Mag ? I can't remember who it was, but someone took an 8aa cell holder and cut out the spaces between the batteries such that they touched each other and managed to get it to fit. It also depends on your mag though. I can't even fit 4 aa's into the...

purchase decision: Arc AAA or CMG Infinity Ultra?

IMHO, It all depends on how big your keychain is. If you're like me and try and keep it as small as possible, the Arc AAA is the only way to go. The Arc is smaller than the key+keyfob for my car. If you're of the type that tries to have their keychain as large as possible, it might not matter...

    SL 4aa 7 Led + Dead Batteries

Technically speaking, unregulated LED lights tend to run longer than regulated ones because the regulation is usually only 60-80% efficient. The advantage of regulated lights is that the output does not drop off. It compensates for voltage drop in the batteries by drawing more current. In...

Ar... Is flashlight safe to check car battery?

Be as carefull with the flashlight as you would with a wrench. If you accidently drop it and it makes a circuit either between the terminals, or between the pos terminal and just about anything else metal (car engines/frames are usually grounded to the negative terminal) then you have a serious...

Thermally Controlled NiMh Fast Charger Works Great

Question, do you find that you can get a complete charge meerly comparing temperature to ambient? I thought it was the time rate of change in the temperature of the batteries that determined when the charge was done?

    Rechargeable Alkaline Question

I must only go through 2-3 sets of alkys a year in my TI. And I use it regularly every day. You guys must really push those things hard to use up so many batteries. I personally have had too many bad experiences with leaking rechargable alkys to ever trust them again. Just my experiences though.
