Lambertian or Side Emitting with mag D reflector?
For anyone that has experience with using the 5W Luxeons with the mag reflectors (specifically the D size reflectors), I'm curious as to weather they are better behaved with the Side Emmiters or the Lambertian emmiters?- FreeBSDboy

MAG 2D mod
I have an old mag 2D that needs to put out more light. I plan to get a mag 5D Magnum Star Krypton bulb (7.5V nom) for it and drive it with 6 AA NIMH's in series (7.2V nom).
