    Customized Surefire MN03 Bulb Burns Out from Surges

    You are overdriving the bulb. Bulb is meant to be used with 2 Primary CR123 which nominal voltage is 3V but voltage sags due to battery internal resistance at MN03 1.1A current. If you are driving MN03 bulb from powersupply I would start at around 5V, not 6V. Juha

    Mine is also copy of the copy. Box has no G&P markings and had no batteries in it. SF P60 has smaller diameter outer spring 19mm vs G&P 20mm that's why it did not make contact in head, but that can be fixed by grinding some ano. Other thinks that needs some work: spring in front of battery...

    Re: Rail pistol Light accepts any G2/6P drop-in! Arrived today. No o-rings in tail or bezel. Bulb was G&P G120:thinking:, head did not make contact with SF P60 since needs larger diameter outer spring than in SF. So this hoast needs some work. Will post more after weekend. Juha
