So my 2 year old apex is displaying heavy cracking where the screws in the front assembly are attaching to the orange front piece. Ptec took care of me with superior customer service with my old vortec so I was hoping they are still supporting their customers... Their online form wasn't going... -

Another Headlamp
What about the PT quad tactical? Its doesn't have the spotlight style power of the Eos, but it does have a red filter and has regulated LEDs. Just a thought. Its throw is a bit blueish though. -

Wow didn't realize so many problems with the discharge. I just tossed in that brand new set of energizer 2500s after a charge and they went to red after less than 4 hours, not sure when exactly, might have only been 2 hrs. :eek: I'm an idiot for not reading that these energizers were made in... -

well, I just spoke with the guys who repair the lamps and they said that the shaking is just the two activator switches right underneath the red buttons. So I guess its not really a problem...at least they say it isn't.:whistle: -
