    Finally got my POB

    $45USD shipped from a seller on Amazon....first impressions coming from a newbie to the whole HID world...it is very bright...it does have a bluish hue(6000k) i dont have a runtime test but it appears that an hour of runtime looks to be likely with the SLA battery...i'm now looking to mod it...

    I'm finally hearing(seeing) the pelican's roar!

    Finally got some of my M@g 2D ROP parts in and got it working with the low bulb so far...will update here with pics when its complete...with 2 - 18650 protected trustfires and no resistance mods i measured 8.2volts on the batteries in series and 1.95 amps at the tailcap...not sure but probably...

    :oops: I was just wondering if anybody owns those Black n Decker "2 MCP" lights (supposedly rated at about 1400 lumens) from Lowes, and if so, are they any good? How are they at mod-potential? If not, whats the best <$50 spotlight that can give me some modding potential?
