    I just replaced my MN01 with an E-MT F1. I love flood lights and the Rebel 100 Koala used actually puts out a great tint and could almost be confused for a incan to the untrained eye.

    Well the bulb pulls about 3 amps and with 2300mAH cells you can expect about 46 minutes of runtime if you are lucky to get the actual cell mAH rating.

    Just rest your cells after you take them off the charger and you will be fine. 12.6V from freshly charged cells is pushing the bulb but with the resistance of the stock switch and G4 Bi-Pin socket you should not have any problems anyways.

    No it is too thick for the retaining ring to thread back into the bezel (at least in my experience). But I believe a 28.8mm x 1.90mm UCL lens from www.flashlightlens.com would fit in the G2 bezel.
