    Blade Material: 440c vs 154cm

S30V has rusted first in the real world for me. 154CM has held up a little better. I do work along the gulf coast and spend alot of time on the water and sometimes get soaked with salt water, so my knives see a little more that some people.

    Benchmade 3300

You can only have them shipped to you if you are an LEO/Military. If you can find an auto in your locale you can purchase it as a collector, but never carry it.

    Texas Legal Info

I purposely do not carry an assisted opening knife anymore because of the grey area they fall in. Even if they do not fall in the definition of switchblade it is not worth going to jail over. Even "(B) opens or releases a blade from the handle or sheath by the force of gravity or by the...

    State police asked Walmart to...

Nothing is bad about them they just got a bad wrap because of movies like West Side Story. It is more of a fear mongering reason that they are outlawed as they are no deadlier than any other knife or gun. In fact my Axis locks which are not assisted opening can open faster than my Nitrous...

    Flashaholic new to knives.

The Mini-Rukus is one hell of a knife. I use mine at work all the time. It is great for cutting and stripping shielded cable. I really love it when I am working with Coax cable as it will cut through the shielding very easily. The S30V stays sharp even when putting alot of use on it cutting...

    Flashaholic new to knives.

The Mini-Grip is a good smallish knife. I keep mine on hand as my secondary knife my main knife is a Mini-Ruckus. I have the D2 version offered through Cabela's. I would have gotten the Doug Ritter version but I don't care for the shape of the blade. The Axis lock is one of the best lock...

    Anybody into small knives

Well as loose as the whole definition of a switchblade in Tx law is. It would include all Auto knives, and would put assisted openers, and even something like the Axis Lock on the verge of being illegal.

    Anybody into small knives

I would love a Benchmite (154CM) version. Unfortunately I found out about Benchmade after they stopped producing them. And I don't want a Benchmite auto due to the legality issues with them.

sog multi tools..who has one do you like them.

I really dislike the new gear shroud, I am glad I got my pair before those were added. I have to admit the Power Lock is huge but they feel very solid. Which is more than I could say about my previous pair of Gerber Multi tools.

    Benchmade griptilian thread!!!

To each his own. The normal Griptilian is too huge for me. Which is why I never use mine.

    Mini griptillian

I have a Griptillian I would hope the Mini Griptillian is more balanced than the Griptillian. I personally can't stand an unbalanced knife which is why I never use my Griptillian. Other than that it is a great knife I love the Axis lock. I wish they could incorporate it in the HK 14460 Blitz...
