    Surefire Lego?

SureFire lego question So I was really bored just now and decided to see if the head on my L1 (Cree) would fit on an L4 or LX2 body, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it did. The output on the L1 head is quite a bit higher when it is used on the L4 and LX2 bodies, and I get the dual...

    Pelican Flashlights

I've been using a 7060 for just about a year now and it has been dropped in every way imaginable (even from a moving vehicle). It is definitely roughed up, but it keeps on ticking.

Can Militec be used to lube O-rings ??

I've used quite a few different things to lube the o-rings and threads (paintball gun oil, Militec-1 oil, Militec-1 grease, white lithium grease, and Radio Shack general purpose lube). All have worked fine, but I'm using the Radio Shack stuff now.

    Shelby's beamshot photos

Shelby\'s beamshot photos I've been searching all over and can't seem to find the photos that Shelby took of close to all the SureFire lights. If anybody could post a link, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

    1x123 Bodies?

Aside from separate SureFire parts, does anybody (either here or somewhere else) make 1x123 bodies that are E-series compatable? I want a body to throw a KL4 and Z57 on there to make a small, bright LED light, but can't seem to find any. If anybody could steer me in the right direction as to...

"Right" way to use the SF lanyard?

\"Right\" way to use the SF lanyard? I just got an L6 and was wondering if there is a proper way to use the lanyard? The reason I ask is because it seems awfully long just to put your wrist through; maybe I'm missing something here. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    E2C Options?

IMO, the L5 is probably more impressive than you've read. I read a few reviews about the L6 and was kind of worried because I had preordered it and it was already on its way to me. However, I received it today and even in the daylight, it exceeded my expectations. I say give the KL5 a shot and...

[ QUOTE ] IlluminatingBikr said: Hey Sarco, If you drop by, would you mind asking the about "The Beast." I saw your thread about it, and I am interested in learning more about it too. I hope you get your lens fixed too. [/ QUOTE ] Sure thing! I probably won't be by until next week...

    Walk ins?

Does anybody know if SureFire takes walk in customers? Since I live less than an hour away, I'll probably just swing by to see if they can't fix my cracked lens right on the spot. If anybody knows or has done this before, please let me know. Thanks!

    Light in Tomb Raider

Just saw the movie today and I'd have to say I enjoyed it. Anyway, towards the beginning of the movie when Angelina Jolie is in her wet suit, I saw a light clipped to her left shoulder that looks almost exactly like an E1e. Did anybody else see that? Or am I just seeing things?

    Travelling with flashlights?

I'll be flying in about 2 weeks and was wondering if it would be alright if I took my 6P in my carry on luggage. I looked at link posted a while back listing the things that were banned in carry on luggages and flashlights weren't listed. Are there any particular things to say/not say if asked...

G2 on its way! Anything i should know?

As for your next light, I'd suggest the L4 if you can afford it. There's just so many good things about it; check out the LED forums for all of the L4 threads. I bought one about 2 weeks ago and it's become my EDC and pretty much "use for anything" light.

G2 on its way! Anything i should know?

The P60 lamp assemblies don't all have a perfect "round" beam, so don't be too surprised if the beam is somewhat oval. Other than that, stock up on the batteries! Well, it depends how much you plan to use it, but I always like to keep quite a few extra 123's handy.

    Mag failed me stories
