Surefire Lifetime warranty *All SF users please come*

Yeah, because LYING about a "problem" in order to get free product is ethical. Get enough people to do this and the honest SureFire owners out there will get screwed if SureFire decides to stop sending out parts. You stay classy. Out.

    Surefire Lego?

SureFire lego question So I was really bored just now and decided to see if the head on my L1 (Cree) would fit on an L4 or LX2 body, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it did. The output on the L1 head is quite a bit higher when it is used on the L4 and LX2 bodies, and I get the dual...

My Extreme Fenix TK40 Torture Test.

I vote for drops from higher distances. I'm curious to see what it'll take to crack/shatter the window.

    Pelican 7060 tailcap cracked??

Never had a problem with my 7060 even after dropping it multiple times on the bezel, tailcap, side, etc. Glad to hear Pelican took care of you though!

Any TK40's out there had any accidents?

I dropped mine last night from about 5 feet up and it landed on the side of the bezel. There was a slight scuff in the anodizing and the lens was fine.

    Pelican Flashlights

I've been using a 7060 for just about a year now and it has been dropped in every way imaginable (even from a moving vehicle). It is definitely roughed up, but it keeps on ticking.

I am torn...TK40 or Eagletac MC Series

There was a runtime graph of the TK40 running for about an hour and a half on turbo mode. It's a non-issue, IMO, and the warning is there as a CYA kind of thing.

    Pelican 7060 tail-cap modification

+1 I carry it in my sap pocket and haven't had any accidental discharges of light.

    Fenix TK40 rattle fix

They should. I'm sure that would work as well. I just found the o-rings first.

    Fenix TK40 rattle fix

Hmm, haven't tried putting my Eneloops in there yet. I have 2 sets charged up and ready to go, but figured I'd used the batteries that got thrown in when I bought it.

    Fenix TK40 rattle fix

I received my TK40 yesterday and have been very impressed with the light with the exception of one thing... the battery carrier rattle. After playing around with the light, I went around looking for a solution that would keep the battery carrier from rattling and to secure the batteries to...

    Fenix TK40 part 3

Take a look at the graph in this post: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showpost.php?p=2910812&postcount=5 Looks like it was kept on for a solid 2 hours on turbo mode.

Can Militec be used to lube O-rings ??

I've used quite a few different things to lube the o-rings and threads (paintball gun oil, Militec-1 oil, Militec-1 grease, white lithium grease, and Radio Shack general purpose lube). All have worked fine, but I'm using the Radio Shack stuff now.

    MN15/MN16 thermal shutdown?

If I were to run the MN15 or MN16 continuously, would the light eventually get too hot and stop working before it cools down again? I just got these bulbs not too long ago and figured I'd ask just so I know what to expect. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Randy

Surefire KL5 fitted on M3 body

No, the KL5 will not fit on a M3 body. The KL6 is the one that fits on the M3, M4, and M6.
