    ohhh, just noticed AAA not AA so you'll need smaller o-ring to do what i posted. i have done this to my infinity ultra for the same reasons, it works well.

    try using a #12 o-ring (id 3/8" od 1/2") between the head & battery, it stiffens the head turning action & also helps to cut down the battery rattle.

    Ferreter,, pm sent. look for business that supply to security, government, etc. some retail shops have big markup to try to make up for lack of sales, as surefire does not sell very well to general public here. although i think pricing on surefire generally will get better in 2004.
