    Hmmm i better go check my fridge then. I actually have a Kill a watt! The honda's are nice also because they are very quiet compared to the other generators on the market. 40db vs 65+ db thanks for the tip, ill go check the fridge specs.:twothumbs

    I have also been thinking about a small generator....problem is the "small" quiet hondas are only 3000W for 1300.00 I've been told thats not enough for a fridge when the compressor kicks in? 53 degrees is COLD for those of us here who are used to 80 degree weather :nana:

    i had my Costco GE lanterns all loaded up with batteries and ready to see some action. Oh well, better having it and not having to use it, then not having it at all. :poke: Man it's been cold for the last few days thou! It was 53 degrees this morning when I got into my car.

    Mililani checking in..... I really should buy a couple of AA lights as i picked up 2 packs of those Enloops from costco when they were on sale. 8 AA's and 4 AAA's per pack + 4 D converters, 4 C converters and a charger Per pack.. I wonder if the D10 is gonna drop in price anytime soon...

    I didnt realize we had so many locals that were CPFers.... I used my HDS EDC modded light as my main bounce light on medium brightness. About 3 months ago I had ordered a bulk pack of 75 glow sticks for the kids from ebay, so now when the power goes out, its always WHERE ARE THE GLOWSTICKS...

    the power stayed out for about 2 hours total. it gave me a chance to see what needs to be improved for lighting up the house in these conditions. I think Im going to pick up 2 2d mag's and convert them to LED for bounce lights.

    you need to match the cells if one was low and one was fully charged it will casue one of the cells to :poof: and cause at minimum damage to the light (burns etc) and it could hurt whoever is using the light at the time....(this can happen with brand name or non brand name) you should test...
