    considering a zebralight tailcap mod....

    Keep the light stock. Machine adapter from delrin with a bore to press fit over the tailcap and on other end attach to LocLine fitting. Cheaper solution is 2" length of rubber hose of adequate dia. Push one end on light and other end on LocLine. Done.

    As long as you also carry a spare AA battery (or backup light) when the 14500 abruptly shuts off due to it's protection circuit. I love my Quarks, except it aggravates me when the light goes from bright to nothing with a 14500. I usually EDC my Mini AA2 instead, but wish it had the moonlight...
