    Re: finally put 2xLithium AA\'s in my NG500 minimag it's lithium AA's, don't they have something like 1.7v? That's around 3.4 volts total, on an L bin, which means that voltage is well within the safe zone AFAIK. Plus the NG isn't 100% efficient so i'd assume it's getting more like 3.2-3.3V.

    Help me pick a small AA torch.

    I just got a nexgen 500 sandwich and put it in a minimag, I'm extremely happy with it though I can tell you it's not the cheapest way to go. I wanted to have the ability to customize and mix and match components, so this was the best way to go for me.
