Anyone using AL, SS or TI chopsticks?

I make the tips pointy for self defense purposes, but can make the tips thicker if you would like them that way. If you want to send me yours, I'll cut the tips back and refinish them for you. It will shorten the length a little, depending how thick you want the tips. Thanks, Lamont

How much titanium do you EDC?

The kite shaped object is a pendant I made out of a piece of 1/4" rough milled Ti. I left the milling marks, blasted it, then satined the highlights. Here are better pics from when I made it (still not that great). I have since anodized it blue.

Its only the tip of the iceberg - I have a lot of other Ti stuff not pictured. Just to the left of the strap is a Nemesis Knives card knife with bottle opener. To the left of the dial is a Ti dog tag. rolling - the key tool is from here: http://www.dutchguard.com/titanium-key-tool-p-TOOL.html...

How much titanium do you EDC?

I usually carry some sort of impact device, usually out of titanium. I have a couple Ti watches, various pendants, a Ti necklace, and various other stuff. I almost always have a few things titanium on me and carry a lot of it in my work bag. Sadly, I don't have a Ti flashlight, but do have a...

Review: LRI Proton is ***HERE***NiMH Runtime Added...

Got the replacement Proton today along with the return envelope for the defective one. I replaced the battery several times to see if it would fail and it did not. The light has no bluish tint, more yellowish. It is fairly bright. It doesn't seem much bigger than my Ultra G. The dimming and...

Review: LRI Proton is ***HERE***NiMH Runtime Added...

I just don't understand why everyone is giving LRI a thumbs up when the basic issues haven't been resolved and should have been corrected prior to shipping them out after becoming aware of the issues. The relationship between a car manufacturer and a flashlight manufacture is not even in the...

Review: LRI Proton is ***HERE***NiMH Runtime Added...

I purchased one last week and am not happy. This should be from a "new batch" and the positive contact fell out while taking out the stock lithium to put in a rechargeable battery. I will contact LRI to see about sending it back for repair. I feel this issue should not have occurred this late...

I bought one for myself and one for my father. I used the light when I fixed ny clothes dryer. When I opened the back of the dryer, I stuck the light to the dryer frame and agled the light where I needed it. I loved it. Nothing else compares to it. The beam did show some slight rings when...

Re: Review: LRI Proton is ***HERE***Real Life Pics Added... This is copied from Mr. X on the Photon Discussion Board: Dear Photon users, I did remember one other advantage to help increase battery life, that a few users may not yet be aware of. There exists in the firmware of the Freedom...

Review: LRI Proton is ***HERE***NiMH Runtime Added...

Re: Review: LRI Proton is ***HERE***Real Life Pics Added... I have a Photon Freedom and there is a 50% power feature built in. It would be nice if the Proton also had this mode to extend battery life. I am looking for a light to do many things and I like the sound/looks of the Proton. I...
