    I need a light for my girlfriend to walk home with every night

    IMHO danger is everywhere regardless of where you live. Take precautions and you will always be safe no matter your location. I carry a Sig P239 no matter where I am or who I am with, but I am no safer than anyone else, prepared maybe, safer no. Get her a light and some training.

    Thank You for the suggestions I will look into it. She has reflective collars on the dogs already but they sometimes get to rooting out turtles, opossums or coons and their heads are burried... John

    I recommend you take me and I will brinf the lights - I love Indonesia!! If it were me I would take a Surefire E2E and any surefire rechargable you can afford. If I were seriously thinking tactical I would bring a weapon light and the gun to place it on. I love the USP 40 that sits on my hip...
