Does this light's tint look blue to you?

Well your camera lens is messed up, so the blue one is on the right. Right? I hate that thing, kinda wished you would not have heat-sinked it. I wonder if it would turn any more blue than it is like when other leds die and go angry blue?

help! RA 170 tactical not working

Back the battery tube/ switch off a 1/4 turn and then back on, see if the light comes on (working like a twisty). Try this a few times see if it switches modes. If it does call Henry @ RA, this is a known issue that plagues like 2-3% of the lights. It has to do with the "wire" through the bat...

How about giving the other half one of those cheap 0.99$ lights, you know the ones sickly and yellow? The ones you have to beat on every time you move it the wrong way, the ones you cant really see across the street with... I did... I now have a woman that likes and apreciates lights... YEAH...

Where can I find the new 2 level mini MagLed?

The 4 modes are (and I quote from the package) High 100% Low 25% Blink S.O.S. I had bought one and returned it... Output was sorry at best (although it had a very high level of throw) The blink mode is just that IT IS NOT A STROBE !!!! more like a locator or warning blink S.O.S. works decent...

    RA twisty carry solutions?

As far as the screws go I have already tried the countersunk flat top screws. I would have to remove a little more material than I would like to and risk allowing the screws to pull through. Ill look around and see if I can find smaller button heads. As far as sourcing these it will probably...

    RA twisty carry solutions?

I dont know if the nitecore clip will fit. That is why I am working on this prodject, to try and make a clip specific for the twisty that I can source/make and get all of our twisties the carry time they deserve. Twisty clip 1.0 was kinda cumbersome and just didnt feel right.....but clip 2.0...

    RA twisty carry solutions?

Tension is actually beter than I originaly thought. Put on my comfy pants (thin t-shirt like cotton material) went out jumped and ran around and the light didn't budge. It rides so deep and the fact at the top it thins down, rode much more secure than I thought it would. The clip itself is...

    RA twisty carry solutions?

The material is a little on the springy side and would probably need to go up in thickness slightly to make it more rigid. Dont get me wrong the retention is decent but I think I would prefer a little more. As far as it rubbing the body....ummmm.... NO....its about the thickness of a piece of...

    RA twisty carry solutions?

Well I have the first proto up and running on my light. Am sacraficing my battery tube to try these differant things. Its wide goes just over 2/3 of the light and keeps the light pretty deep. 1060 spring steel, 2 4-40 alloy screws has a 90 degree jump on the bottom witch keeps the light held on...

    RA twisty carry solutions?

Ok I have some ideas brewing... I would like to get some input from everyone.... Would a widder clip be preffered or a narrower clip? i.e. 1/4 or 3/8th inch? Would it rather be shorter or longer? i.e. half body or full body with a rise to allow most belts to "lock" on? would it be preffered to...

    RA twisty carry solutions?

For those of us such as myself that finds thier way into enviroments that will easily damage the bezel/lens of a light, I find bezel down to be the best carry solution. I do alot of metal fab and welding and grind/weld slag will easily destroy a lens in a light, Surefire has replaced a few...
