    The rubbing alcohol and steel wool got one back up and running like a champ. I am waiting for some Deoxit to arrive for one last run at the last two. I'll probably Deoxit all of them just to be safe-- sounds like a great product.

    I am also confused by this: "You may return the light of course during the 30-day satisfaction guarantee period but not replace it with another light." So now, rather than 'exchange' it for another light, you just return it and then place a new order. Same result, no?

    Are returned Arc's re-sold as factory firsts or does it depend on the reason for the return? I would hate to think that picked-over Arc's are being re-sold as firsts, but the Arc packaging makes it impossible to tell if the light was taken for a test drive before it was returned.
