    Yeah I'm going to have to buy one, one day and test it out but for the time being I will check out the one I ordered.. Also I know amber LED's have an issue with light output and tempature.

    I ended up buying some older rebel LED's (3-up) I will just use an orange/amber color filter in fron't of the LED.. at least I'd get about 567 lm from it Now the task of finding a 40 mm round heatsink..

    Ah I see, 2nd of all how did they mount the heatsink? I would be taking off the whole bulb base if I go forward. Only way I see is covering the socket hole with the heatsink to provide a seal?
