    @hit4six, The led spots are designed for interior use and when I built the set, it was a vast improvement over socalled super bright LED lights from the likes of Cateye. But I agree with you to see they aren't much good, but great to be seen, When I get home they light up my garden path...

    Eamon, The halogen I use is an MR16 and although the light is quite white while overvolted it burns through everything, wet asphalt, mud covered asphalt (farmers), oncoming headlights, you name it. The only downside is that it uses a lot of power and I would favor a narrower spot pattern...
