    can I convert an old 3D Maglite to LED cheaply?

    I installed one of the maglite drop ins for about 20 bucks. Well worth the money, I haven't had to replace batteries for a year and it still works well. If I drop it( the light) from the top of my 8ft ladder the bulb does not break. Great replacement IMO. Mike
