    Mine have always had new numbers when replaced due to damage. Replacements for cards that have expired have had the same numbers though.

    I'll second the carsdirect.com recommendation. I've had great luck using them as a negotiation tool. They will also hook you up with local dealers for a no haggle transaction if you like the price they are quoting.

    I use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and distilled water. Spray on and wipe with a soft cloth. Worked fine for years with no trouble.

    That's the way I went. $.10 a blade is an offer I couldn't refuse. I purchased 2 years worth of blades for under $11.00 shipped. These are name brand too, not generic.
