    The "One Light" challenge

I was forced into the one week challenge. I just moved into a new house and packed up all my lights but one...my SC600 Mk1. Used multiple levels and it kept on chugging for the whole week. I'm happy with it. Jeff

Do you own a light too nice to use?

Go outside and drop it on the sidewalk. Then you can start enjoying the light and using it for its intended purpose. :) Jeff

    Cave Ready EA4 Flashlight

Is it a cramped cave or one of those giant ones? I would feel more comfortable having a backup with moonlight mode if I went in a cramped cave. Take pictures! Jeff

Does anyone still use their Inova 24/7?

I don't know what it is but I find myself playing with this light often. It's not bright, has no throw but I like using it around the house. Perhaps because I can't unleash ungodly power it has an appeal to me. Hell, I can't even use rechargeable batteries in it. What is it with this light that...

I would have bought the Zebralight SC52W bit it doesn't take 14500's. So for me, it's: Thrunite Neutron 1A Sunwayman V10A In an emergency, I can use AA alkies. Jeff

Seraph XM-L M series Turbo Head

1000 lm LED upgrade for under $100 from Lumen Factory. I would think someone would have bought one by now. Perhaps I'm missing something here. Jeff

How to tell if your flashlight uses PWM or not

Turn off your bathroom lights and close the door. Turn on your flashlight and run the shower. If the water looks like a flickering string of beads, then your flashlight is using PWM. If its just a blur of water then it's current controlled. Noticed that when my bathroom light went out and I had...

Are throw lovers mostly outdoor people and floody light lovers indoor people?

I like flood at the campsite and throw out in the meadows and woods. When I work on things up close, I like a tight beam that lets me focus on a small point. I guess every situation is different. Jeff

    Bought crappy lights on purpose

This was the best picture my phone could take. My girlfriends waders sprung leaks in both feet. The 2AA Dorcy light was done after 1 hour and the Zebralight SC600 came out for the next hour. :) Jeff
