    +1... Pros over the blast: diffrent light levels, better shaped beam with no artifacts. . Glass window instead of plastic. thats all i can think of.. Cons: tho the quark is waterproof. but not dive rated ( i think the blast is dive rated? ) another con is the light tint, he might not be...

    maybe u can get a AA body for the p2d...or get a the quarkAA ( and u can buy a cr123a body if u wanted for the quark ) the quark has a moon mode which is 0.2 lumens and will last for days. and do u have access to AAA easily? E01 would be great.

    welcome to CPF! :welcome: hmm what i can think about is the Quark tactical series and quark turbo the programing for them is basicly the same thing. and has two imediate choices of levels ( switching them by twisting the head ) but is capable of many more diffrent levels ( two at a time...
