    Review of SysMax/NiteCore Intellicharger i4 V2 Charger

my i4 Intellicharger died after I put four AA nimh and then plugged it the wall. Would not power up from the AC cord but did power up from the car cord, unfortunately that also malfunctioned. No repair facility in the USA, so I have another paperweight. Very disappointed in the return or repair...

    ultrafire and their damned batteries

I purchased four Ultrafire RCR123A's from Dealextreme and they work fine in my Ultrafire A1, but they are too long to properly fit my Olight T-20's which require two cells. Since I can't find Tenergy RCR123A 3.7volt I was thinking their 3.0 volt might work? Maybe I'll go with the AW cells when...

    Olight M20 3.0V RCR123's or 3.6V RCR123's ?

I just wanted to say thanks for the question and answer. I have been using Tenergy RCR123A's rated at 3.7 volts in my Olight T-20's and my Ultrafire A1, but now I will give the 3.0volt RCR's a try since they seem to be more available. Too bad they have such low MAH's compared to other batteries.

    RCR123A Battery Length Problem

I posted this question in the LED section but it really belongs here. My problem is the longer length of the Ultrafire RCR123A batteries I tried using in my Led flashlight which worked fine with the shorter Tenergy RCR123A 3.7volt batteries. I would like to know if there is a safe technique to...

    18350 1200mAh

Re: 18350 1200mAh for my M20 - all good!!!! I'd like to thank you all for the patient explanations. I enjoy my Olight T-20's and use Tenergy RCR123A's advertised at 900MAH, but I would like longer run times so I am considering a light that uses both 18650 and RCR123A's. If the advertised MAH of...

    Another 18650 Question

Matt, since battery tubes will be manufactured for the M-20 Warrior all that Olight would have to provide to make the fit would be a reducer and insert to extend the contact from the battery to the head. Consumers who own T-20's such as myself would buy the battery tube with reducer and tailcap...

    Another 18650 Question

I would agree with you if Olight did not offer the "Olight T-15 and T-10 battery tubes for the very purpose of allowing users the option of a different battery. The Warrior sounds like it has some great features and forward thinking built in such as the flexibility of both 123A and 18650 battery...

    Another 18650 Question

Matt, my thinking is sell the accessories to upgrade the products you have in use and improve the products being introduced into the market place. Customers such as myself who own the current T-20's will seriously welcome the versatility of a higher capacity battery because it improves our...

    Another 18650 Question

Hi Matt. That's too bad, I thought it would make a nice addition to the Olight line. Thanks again.

    Another 18650 Question

Matt, thanks for looking into the possibilities. I was wondering about how such a larger diameter tube could fit into the head and tailcap. I think it could be done by machining a larger diameter tube which would hold the 18650 and simply reducing the end to fit the T-20's. The metal would have...

    Another 18650 Question

Ah Matt, you were just the guy I was thinking about when I wrote this question. That new Olight got me thinking batteries and possibilities. I may give in and order soon. I appreciate your input. Thanks.

    Another 18650 Question

Thanks for the quick response. I like the idea of having greater energy (run time) but I'm not sure how many lumens I would lose in some of my LED flashlights. Currently I have a couple Olight T-20's and the run time with RCR123A's is not very good, so if I could fit a rechargeable 18650 and get...

    Another 18650 Question

Sorry to bother you folks with what must be some very basic questions but I'm curious. Comparing a 18650 rechargeable with lets say 2400MAH fresh off the charger with 4.1 volts to 2x RCR123A cells rated at 900MAH and 4.1 volts each, does the MAH of the RCR123A's double when combined as does...

No complaints with my Tenergy D's. Would be nice to have a hybrid version D NIMH for longer shelf life.

News - The longest lasting alkaline battery

I understand the hype with Guiness but do we need to keep dumping one time use batteries into our environment? How about improving rechargeables? Why can't we get a 3000MAH hybrid AA that holds a charge for several months? I bought into the NIMH AA and AAA's that discharge by the day and now I'm...

    123 Battery Shoot Out

I hope you get a reply to your question, but my vote for a good 123 rechargeable would be the Tenergy 900MAH . I got mine from Batteryjunction.com. They've worked very well and charge evenly. Saved a ton of money.
