    Recent upgrade in the black light. Streamlight classic LED upgrade kit. Unbranded Terralux (I'm guessing) in the red one. Time for more patina.... The Terralux is just a little longer, 2 mm or so.

    I can't take credit for the red one. It's seen some toolbox wear for sure. The unbranded Terralux type LED wasn't bright until I removed the grime and scratches from the optic with a dose of polywatch scratch remover. A new boot is on order.

    Surefire 6PX Pro low mode only. Fixable?

    If the voltage drops too low, the light has a power save mode that sets it to low only. Fresh batteries should reset this. Not this time. It goes back to be evaluated.

    I was using 2 cr123'S and a 16750. I have it unplugged to see if it resets.

    Picked up a second gen (320 lumen) 6PX Pro that will now only run on low mode. It did run on low or high. Is it fixable or is it now a nightstand light?

    Central Indiana here. We had high winds from Helene but otherwise OK. Did have a day cancelled in Louisville Kentucky for an outdoor music festival due to the high winds.

    Damascus Razors

    First off, that Damascus looks fantastic. I recall many years ago D2 had a bad reputation. I think they have learned the proper heat treatment for it because even the recent AliExpress D2 pocket knives I have sharpen easy and keep an edge very well.

    They are all 519A's I think and all over the place on tint and CRI. The titanium has a metal button so it is taller to accommodate the seal under the button.
