    Which color Surefire A2 LED?

    I have mine in blue. Its good because it doesn't ruin your vision, but I wish I had white sometimes when I need it to be a little bit brighter. Blue is great for indoors but gets lost for me outside.

    Re: L4 You're right, greenled... What I mean, is that I would like very much to be able to carry one light that can totally obliterate someones vision close range, and yet be usable in casual situations too. I hardly need to engage a foe from afar or pin down an entire unit or something...

    I believe that the threads are (or in your case were) secured with locktite... so right now if its not moving at all, thats good. If it wiggles around or whatever... thats bad. Heat the bezel in hot water (just dip the end in), which will losen the locktite so you can turn it, and retighten...

    There you have it... the L4, the U2, or should I wait for the next round of LEDs with higher output and strike bezels? Seems like both have their advantages.
