    Images E2D body&bezel w/ KL4?

MY forum and internet searches have come up empty, people only speak of it... does anyone have any images of the E2D with a KL4 head with the strike bezel ring?

    Most useful light?

I'm back again with more annoying questions... I just don't have the money to buy every light I see and love. What would you say was the most useful light you've ever used or have in your collection? Not necessarily EDC-able, not necessarily economical, just the one light you've found yourself...

O regulated incandesent, where art thou?

Ah, touche. But that still doesn't explain the lack of regulated incans. Cost, prehaps? Its just a great feature.

O regulated incandesent, where art thou?

Well sure, you can look at it that way. However... take a look at the runtime plot for the M2, for example. It uses two batteries and puts out 65 lumens. It hits 50% at 54 minutes, declining the entire time. For those same two batteries and about 75-80 lumens, the A2 will run dead even at...

O regulated incandesent, where art thou?

Of course, we know the regulated incandesent is standard in the A2. Other lights can be modified to accomidate them. But it has been 2... or is it 3... years since the introduction of the A2 and it is still the only light that comes stock with a regulated incandesent. Frankly, I would expect...

    A2 Avaitor light arrived today

I must be unlucky or something, I've got pretty noticable artifacts in my beam. Although that doesn't matter because on my long list of light-related purchases is getting a different LED ring from SF. But its a beautiful light, aint it?

    What Feature do you desire?

Digging this thread up to make my suggestions... A regulated incan, lets say... 120 lumens. Runs on 2 lithiums... about 5.5 inches long, 1 inch bezel and tailcap, thinner center with knurling. And the best part... the tailcap. Clicking tailcap, with typical gentle press momentary, full for...

    L4, E2D, 9P, U2

Re: Bitten by the light bug. U2 vs M3T So. I have totally shifted gears... I know, I know, I should get them all. And I will, eventually. Right now though the L4 is in the lead, with the E2D in second, 9P in third, and the apparently problem-riddled U2 in fourth. (I'm not trying to start a...

is this silicon grease OK for o`rings

As long as its not petrolium based, I'm pretty sure its good. I know from paintball that petrolium will break down the o-rings so you need a nice, thin silicon oil to lubricate the moving parts... but thats not much of a factor here.

    L4, E2D, 9P, U2

Re: Bitten by the light bug. U2 vs M3T Thanks bill... and i didnt know that about the A2. Its nice to know how much light I'm actually getting out of it.

    L4, E2D, 9P, U2

Re: Bitten by the light bug. U2 vs M3T Alright... this may decide it for me... if you happen to own both, how do the a2 compare with brightness, spill and throw? I've read the numbers on flashlight reviews and quite frankly they dont mean much to me... I'd rather hear from someone who can...

    Calling all G2-and-A2 owners

My A2 has a decent enough range, but it seems to do better close up. Also, after the first 10 minutes of incan light you can start seeing the LED light around the outside of the incan beam on your target (if they are colored that is). I find it distracting sometimes.

    L4, E2D, 9P, U2

Re: Bitten by the light bug. U2 vs M3T The A2 is awesome... but I'd recomend only getting it if you want a particular color LED... red or blue for preserving NV and special purposes... white or green for great visibility with long run time. I haven't had a problem with it yet (2+ years now).

Re: Bitten by the light bug. U2 vs M3T ideally, both.

    L4, E2D, 9P, U2

Re: Bitten by the light bug. U2 vs M3T That is true... prehaps having an A2 (50 lumens) and a U2 (only 30 lumens more) would be redundant for a personal light... if you guys have any other sugestions though, for something portable with very high output, let me know, maybe the L4, L6, or just...

    L4, E2D, 9P, U2

Hello everyone. I just discovered the forum while doing some research for the next light i intend to purchase. I've loved the taste of delicious flashahol for years but ever since I saw an E2D in popular science, I was entirely infatuated with Surefire. In actuality I bought an A2, which blew...
