Has anyone bought from Sirius Outdoor?

Had a closer look at the website and their Shipping & Returns page is a bit of a joke. T-Mobile, Verizon and UPS for a China based flashlight seller? http://www.sirius-outdoor.com/index.php?main_page=shippinginfo Going to consider this a scammer site.

Has anyone bought from Sirius Outdoor?

http://www.sirius-outdoor.com/ Has anyone bought from this site? Website doesn't seem too dodgey - that is there's a physical address and a proper email address (not hotmail gmail etc). However I haven't been able to find any kind of feedback on this vendor.

Anybody else had problems with DealExtreme (DX)?

I've always had in stock items ship within 2 weeks. Usually within a few days. Backordered items can take a very long time but that's to be expected. When something doesn't arrive (rare) they'll send another without fuss. With an incorrect item they usually ask you to keep it and give you...

    clean your titanium threads

All titanium light threads produce the gunk. McGizmo, Delghi, Steve Ku - pretty sure they're all "good" grade 5 Ti6Al4V and not "stupid cheap titanium alloy". How smooth the threads feel have more to do with the quality of the machining rather than the material.

When has having your flashlight hindered you?

Carring a light clipped to the right front pocket. I've brushed the pocket clip against my car a few times and that's always made me wince. Both for the light and for the car. It also hogs up that pocket because I'm reluctant to carry anything in the same pocket as the light.

What's your favorite part when showing off a light?

The inevitable 'let me have a look, oops dropped it on the ground, ah well it's only a flashlight'. :scowl: Wait no that was my least favorite part! I've concluded that showing lights to non flashaholics is a lost cause and I keep it in my pocket.

    My second Arc6...

Ah that makes me want a K2 Arc6 more than ever. I've always preferred throw in my lights. Despite being an unfair comparison between different emitters, I was a little disappointed when the newly arrived Arc6 on IMR16340 was out thrown by my Nitecore D10 R2 on eneloops. I wonder if Arc will...

    My second Arc6...

It's good to see some positive feedback. After their recent problems, I've been on the lookout for signs of improvement before buying some parts for my Arc6. Any chance of writing up a comparison between the K2 (TFFC?) and P4 Arc6s?

    The light you haven't bought?

Ra Twisty (have had this one in the cart many times) McGizmos Some kind of thrower I can't bring myself to buying an expensive light that's too big to EDC and will just end up sitting on my desk.

Torn apart - Surefire M6 or Wiseled tactical 2000 ?

From what I can see from their photos, the WiseLED uses optics (lenses) rather than reflectors to focus the light. It's not just LEDs sitting there with nothing. So your understanding of its beam/spill are incorrect. I do agree that it seems too expensive for what it is, even with the 35%...
