    Zebralight SC52 Owner's Thread

Just got my SC52 and also getting the 14500 battery + high mode flickering that's been mentioned a few times. Nitecore 14500 charged to 4.2V, the light starts flickering after 3-7 seconds in high mode. The frequency at which it flickers seems to increase with the runtime. Might have something...

Just got Olight S20 and S10, tint green on both.

Before anyone rushes off to buy a "neutral tint" Olight, have a look at this thread for the limited edition titanium version. I don't think a single person reported anything other than horrible green, mine went straight back in the box. The 5000k XM-L dropin I got from Nailbender is pure white...

    NiteCore D11 v1 versus D11 v2

I don't believe the battery drain issue was separated by the v1 and v2. Reason being I had an EX11 v2 that was pulling around 4 milliamps while off, that particular light is currently back at Nitecore having its driver replaced.

    Nitecore warranty question

You do that. If you think asking the Chinese consulate to provide you with written assurance on your flashlight warranty return procedure is 'correct' and will accomplish anything other than to waste everyone involved's time, I pity you. Meanwhile I will return my flashlight as instructed and...

    Nitecore warranty question

Seriously mate. Contact the Chinese consulate for advice on how to return a $50 flashlight for warranty? Why not just declare it for $20 as requested and save everyone a lot of hassle. It's a second hand broken flashlight, declaring a value of $20 or less is more than reasonable. And no the...

    Nitecore warranty question

I received the same return instructions from Nitecore. It's pretty reasonable if you think about it. If you declare a high value they might have to manually clear the item from customs and/or pay customs duties. I'd imagine this would add considerably to their cost of providing customers with...

    Nitecore Explorer Series (EC1, EC2, EA1, EA2)

I used a flat blade jewelers' screwdriver like a mini chisel to go over the rough spots. This has taken most of them out except at the start of the threads where it's so thin you need to careful not to demolish them altogether.

    Nitecore Explorer Series (EC1, EC2, EA1, EA2)

I looked through both this thread and selfbuilt's review thread, couldn't find it. Also replied here stating such but it disappeared. Maybe the post I saw was lost too . Edit: yes I believe you're right about the tailcap. The roughness still annoys me though. And a moonlight mode would...

    Nitecore Explorer Series (EC1, EC2, EA1, EA2)

Looks like we lost a few replies. Using an AW RCR123 in my EC1, the current draw in standby (red blinky) mode fluctuates between 0.2 to 4 milliamps. I started with the RCR123 charged to 4.18V and left it in standby mode for 24 hours, after this the battery measured at 4.15V. Only real...

    Nitecore Explorer Series (EC1, EC2, EA1, EA2)

There's a post somewhere where the owner has disassembled his explorer. There weren't any details on whether it came apart at the bezel or battery end though.

For those using titanium clips on their LF2XTs

The following was done using a 3rd run Steve Ku titanium LF2XT shell and Moodoo titanium clip. However it should also apply to other LF2XT shells and the Darksucks titanium clip. It always bothered me how these clips often become uncentered, especially when clipping and unclipping from thicker...

With a Sunwayman V10R Ti, what would be the practicable reason to keep a McGizmo Ti?

I don't see how you can argue that they are similar in terms of build quality. See here for detailed photos of what I mean. The V10R Ti has good build quality, but nowhere near a McGizmo.

Sunwayman V10R Ti - Clip Options???

I received my V10R Ti and kuku427 D10/EX10 clip today and just finished installing it. Impressions of the light: - I love how slim this light is compared to other CR123 lights. Diameters - V10R Ti 23.04mm, Ra Clicky 25.37mm, McGizmo Haiku 25.17mm. In my opinion that 2mm difference really makes...

Manufacturer's website is usually a good source of info. "All made of Titanium alloy"

Sunwayman V10R Ti - Clip Options???

I'm pretty sure the 3 clips all look the same but have slightly different curvature where they attach and perhaps small differences in hole spacing. Differences would seem necessary as the 3 lights have different diameters. It just seems strange that it fits your light but not nekomane's...

Sunwayman V10R Ti - Clip Options???

Which Kuku clip did you use? I was under the impression that his D10, EX10 and EX10 Fatty clips are all different. Perhaps you and nekomane used different clips.
