    Im glad js can afford to over look things normal people would not stand for. Ive done auto repair for 31 years. If your door or trunk dont line up, it will still close, but looks like crap when the pin stripes dont line up,etc. If Im buying a new car no way am I leaving a scratch in the bumper...

    The tint I am reffering to is the LED tint. If HA has a pin hole, it should be obvious that, that spot has very little HA protection. The pinhole is there because the HA is pooling around a certain area, not sticking in the "hole" causing a pinhole. Thats the way it works with paint anyways.

    When refinishing automobiles, pin holes(fisheyes) are caused by oil or grease from finger prints or other greasy contaminants. Proper prep will avoid these problems. I beleive its the same with HA. At the center of that fisheye the metal is not suffiently protected.

Id like to make my own scratches in my 180$ light lens, optic, reflector, etc. I cant afford to buy two Arc4s and return the other, to assure myself a great quaility tint and overall satisfactory light.     Re: arc4 finder beacon brightness level I was hoping for a dimmer settings also. It would be great for extreme battery run times, during emergency situations.

    Re: arc4 finder beacon brightness level lowest setting seems right. Im sure the lowest setting is good enough to find the Arc in my backpack or dresser. Dont seem right leaving it on a higher batt draining setting since its just for locating.

    Maybe some kind of screw on cap or shroud for the switch can be made available. Maybe threads where the knurling is closest to the switch can be made to accept a protective cap.
