    Here's a schematic I stumbled on that claims an average 6 microamps drain from a 3v supply. It does need a 47 uF cap, though. Probably be able to get the shelf life out of a CR2 with it. Low Power Flasher

    Yeah, I picked up one as well. I put in on the headboard of the bed, pointing at the ceiling and connected it to my portable DVD player. It's a blast to watch when drifting off to sleep! I did wire up a custom mono miniplug to four-pole miniplug cable to connect it directly to the DVD player...
