    Tektite on How Its Made

    Tektite on How Its Made

Thanks for the request, and the sprit it's offered. I don't want to give the impression I'm too busy for CPF, but my postings have usually been limited to answering questions, or providing clarifications, regarding the Tekna and Tektite brands. This usually happens when I'm checking incoming...

    Nichia 5mm color question...

Hi Paul, The single LED with reflector is equal to a the current 2 LED module without reflector, The LEDs are the NSPW500CS C0T or C0U One of the CS is likely close to the output of a Trek 4 from 1998-2000 vintage. Send me a PM with a mailing address, I'll send you some parts.

Tektite flashlights on The Discovery Channel

Well, as an environmentally concerned company (see link to our policy below), we would NOT throw away all that aluminum, especially at today's prices!! We have a scrap company come by whenever the scrap bin is full. The extra money goes into the company coffee/snack fund, and the scrap goes...

Many thanks for the video link, too; It's been a problem figuring out when the episode next airs, and getting it up on our website... ...And yes, we hand solder every LED to ensure correct placement and aim. As you can see, we also hand assemble each one. The aluminum light is an Expedition...
