    Hi sylvain I have been EDC a E2DL for quite some time and I have yet to dent mine, and I am pretty ruff on it. I guess it just comes down to what your expectation are going into it, I am surprised how well mine has held up, I have lost a little HAIII off the edges but I expected that.

    what makes the L1 and better than the G2l or 6PL ?

    I think your comparing apples to oranges, you say that the L1 is not as bright and less runtime of course not, one cell light compared to two. I have all three lights mentioned I like them all just different uses for each.

    yes it is I use a rcr123 in the E1E body and KL4 head not sure about run time I just swap batteries everyday
