    Thanks lighthouse, I will look into the rechargeables. Try'n to keep the ol' lady in the dark (haha) about the possible costs of my new found hobby but I supose that is in the long run cheaper then CR123's!

    New to LEDs and what I want to know is when the batteries (3 Surefire CR 123's) in my new M1X are being depleated will the light dim to let me know I need to change the cells like say a Maglite? Or will I go to turn it on and it will just be dead? Hate to need the light on duty and no light...
