Hazardous environment
Is the rating on the standard flashlight (partially) based on the bulb used (ie, do you have to use a particular/special bulb to maintain the safety rating)? If not, maybe could you mod your standard light with an Everled or similar to get the advantages of a regulated Luxeon. - Dwayne- dtrego

Better tailcap for Mini-mag?
Awhile back, pocketlights.com posted his Shot Show 2004 report that mentioned a new NiteIze minimag tailcap - the IQ Switch. It supposedly worked with the Opalec Newbeam installed - I've never seen one for real nor can I find it on www.niteize.com, though. It also sported an LED battery meter...- dtrego

Sears 4 AA - 5 LED Flashlight - anyone got it?
I picked one up a few months ago (found out about it from this thread). Got it for $13.99 with a Craftsman Club discount on top of the sale price. Seems like a pretty sturdy light, but haven't used it a lot - still too intrigued with Luxeon-based lights. - Dwayne- dtrego

Arc Pocket Clip Screws...
From this thread back in March, chiaroscuro was providing some 4-40x3/16" buttonhead screws for replacements. The ones I received fit fine - put 'em on and never took them off... - Dwayne- dtrego

Arc4 lens change kit accessory?
CM, I use a minim@g accessory kit - the rubber bezel/lens holder fits nicely on the Arc4+. I took some very fine (2000 grit) sandpaper to the clear lens that came with the accessory kit and it turned out to be quite useable as a diffuser. There's still a noticeable hotspot, but it transitions...- dtrego

The Arc4 anti-roll bezel & lens holder!
Just got my ARC4(second) today (Thanks, Peter & Merri!). I noticed that the business end is just a little larger in circumference than the LS series. It turns out that a MiniM@g accessory lens holder fits quite snugly. It allows the use of the colored lenses and gives the Arc4 a nice anti-roll...- dtrego
