    The Gen4 TigerLight lamp assembly

I took the Tigerlight out with the Super Premium pack (fully charged) and three different lamp assemblies - an SL20X that I textured with high temp enamel, a Generation 3 Tigerlight LA that I textured, and the Generation 4. The SL is not impressive - the texturing turned it into a floodlight...

    The Gen4 TigerLight lamp assembly

I received my 'Super Premium' battery pack and Gen 4 lamp assembly today. It is on the charger for 24 hours per the instructions, but I couldn't resist turning it on a couple times to check it out. The beam, unfortunately, doesn't appear any nicer than the batwing one I had already, but it is...

How do you stipple a reflector?

Re: Sputtering or Texturing Reflectors I did basically what has been described here already. I held the can about 20" above the part and depressed the button only enough to get it to 'spit' out globs of the enamel to get the heavier texture I wanted. If I wanted less texture, I just pushed...

How do you stipple a reflector?

Re: Sputtering or Texturing Reflectors Thanks everyone for your input. I bought a can of Duplicolor High Heat Clear Engine Enamel at Checker Auto yesterday and textured 3 reflectors, one off a Dorcy handheld rechargeable spotlight, one a factory Tigerlight LA, and an SL-20X LA. The results...

How do you stipple a reflector?

Sputtering or Texturing Reflectors I have two reflectors that I want to add an orange peel type texture to in order to smooth out the beam. I have searched and searched and haven't found what people were using to do this. I suspect that this information got lost when the forum changed over to...

The New TigerLight Super-Premium Battery Pack

I have had an FBOP Tigerlight for 18 months now and I'm pretty disappointed with it. The build quality is excellent but the light output is pretty poor. My Pelican M6 Xenon matches it and my newly aquired Streamlight TL-3 blows it away. This is not acceptable to me in a light that costs this...

bulbs for Craftsman AA / Dorcy Excell

So how do you like the Smith and Wesson 2AA Xenon? That is what I wanted to buy, but I couldn't find one anywhere locally and Sears had this AA on sale, so . . . Thanks, Allan

bulbs for Craftsman AA / Dorcy Excell

Their diameter is larger than the minimag bulb. I tried a MM bulb this morning and it does work, but it is dimmer and gives a lousy beam. I'd like to find original equipment replacements. Thanks for the reply, Allan

bulbs for Craftsman AA / Dorcy Excell

I just bought a Craftsman AA light but can't find any replacement bulbs. This light is identical to the Dorcy Excell AA. Dorcy lists bulbs on their website but doesn't tell me where to get them. Any suggestions? I couldn't find any solutions in the archives. Thanks, Allan
