Do not carry 9 volt batteries in pocket

And don't pee on a hot electric fence. A friend of mine told me he was tricked into doing that. [He was the gullible city kid new to town and all, I guess.] Never confirmed it. It was so funny when he told me, that it didn't matter. lol

    30GB iPod Battery Charger

I saw this at Belkin's site. It's for the iPod 20G 4thGen. http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=186754# I have this and another pic... It seemed to work with my 20G 4th Gen, but haven't used it with my 30G Video. I should look into seeing if it's compatible...

What are the typical mA ratings of these primary batteries?

Hopefully this is worth a beer... [notice the absence of root in the beer].. :naughty: Larger version is here. Bear in mind, I made this a long time ago from Manufacturer's spec on their websites. Also, refer to previous posts about discharge rates at specific voltages. Hope this helps. Danno

Specs on 6v spring terminal lantern batteries?

IIRC, there was a post stating that Duracell 6 Volt Batteries had 4 D cell batteries in them. And Energizer had 4 F Cell batteries. Also, wayback when [2004 I think], Energizer stated that their Lantern Battery Capacity was [26000 mAh] which was the same as their F cell but at different...

Replacing a 3xAAA holder by LiIon?

18650 has a length of 64.7mm which seems too long. an 18500 has a length of 50.0mm which is the same as an AA or C cell. It's a bit shorter than what you need but you can extend a spring or contact to work. I wonder if there's such a thing as an 18600? That would make the length to 60mm...

Battery Connectors, can I get this connector?

One option [or two] is to remove the cables from the old battery and put them on the new one. It looks like the other end maybe soldered to the battery terminals and covered with heatshrink. Carefully cut those ends, rembering the polarity. The crimp on new disconnects [female] to connect to...

How to disassemble a Li-Ion pack

I just posted this thread before reading yours. Thanks for all the info. I better re-read your great info, ELM! Especially about the protection circuit! I've opened up two Sony FM50's which had the 18500's. Both cells seem good. Modded a 2C flashlight w/a Krypton bulb. Similar to your...

    where to get AAAAs?

[ QUOTE ] JSWrightOC said: I can confirm that standard Energizer alkaline 9V batts have AAAAs in them, as well as Energizer Industrial Alkalines. Both have identical internal construction, having "loose" cells relying on pressure-fit for all electrical connections. I have taken apart close to 50...
