    LEP Acebeam

Hey, Sorry if it's a wrong sub-forum, but thought might be good for a spotlights... Any idea why Acebeam dropped LEP flashlights? Maybe it's a shame to admit, but I've just discovered them (LEPs). Is there something wrong with the idea and that's why they didn't want to pursue it any further...?

Oracle 35W coating - how does it look like?

Well, no, I haven't. Since I know that they offer only 3 months guarantee :crackup:I gave up the idea of buying Tactical HID and decided to go for Oracle. I've sent another mail to Justin from automotivehid and this time got my responce. They offer really great price for that light. Honestly, I...

Oracle 35W coating - how does it look like?

Cool, thanks! I'm not planning any "hard" use for that light (it's HID after all, I wont take the risk), so black version should be ok with me. By the way - did you experience any communication's problems with the automotive hid store? I have asked those guys a question two days ago and I'm...

Oracle 35W coating - how does it look like?

Hi All (mainly Oracle owners :-), I'm about to buy Oracle 35W light and I was wondering how's the anodizing look like? Automotivelightstore advertises this light as blackpowder coat and I'm not pretty sure what does it mean. There was not clear conclusion in the post I've read about that. To...

HID light up times / switch on / switch off - how often?

Hi, I think I'm about to buy the Oracle HID light. That's what I think of at the moment... My question here is about using the HID light in general (maybe not particularly Oracle itself). So, you switch on the light and wait about 30-40 seconds to reach the full blast. 1. What is the minimum...

    HID up to $500

Yeah, just found that light on e-bay.com. around $90 for the light and $50 for shipment. Hurts... It's not, what I expected...

    HID up to $500

Yeah, I think I made my decision. The winner is... Stanley HID, haha! Yes, I think I will start from this light, because it's quite cheap and then I will decide what next: will I need more spill, different colour temperature, different form factor, etc. My question now is, however, do you know...

    HID up to $500

Yes, I will, don't worry. If only I could see that Warrior's beam colour in real world... :sigh: Now I'm at 50/50 point, I'm just unable to make decision. I think, I need make a list of all pros and cons, and just decide using pure logic and facts.

    HID up to $500

Thanks, Patriot. I think I'll go for that light finally. I was leaning towards Microfire Warrior III, but that blueish beam slightly put me backwards from buying it. If not that - I would buy it without any doubt. If Tactical HID is US based, somehow it makes me feel a lot better ;). No...

    HID up to $500

Well, yeah... Seems like a good deal. My problem is though, I don't trust unbranded makes. I know, it's not fully unbranded, you can call it "Tactical HID", "Oracle" ot whatever you like. I've heard that this light is sold under 6 different names. You know, the company which produces something...

    HID up to $500

Thanks a lot for suggestions. I was wondering why Microfire Warrior don't offer 4300K bulb? Is there any particular reason for that? Maybe there are some issues with cheap 4300K coloured HID bulbs and only very expensive lights like Polearion or MaxaBeam can afford to fit them in their lights...

    HID up to $500

Hi Folks, Recently I went through different options in search for my powerfull light finally narrowing my choice to Microfire Warrior III and Surefire M6. However these are totally different light I had my reasons to focus on those two. Finally I decided to go for HID lights. I thought that MF...

Sirefire M6 and MIcrofire WIII - beamshots comparison - where can I find them?

Thanks for the reply, Patriot. Your help made me resign from buying the Warrior III. The main issue is that bloody blue beam. I will also pass by the idea of buying the Surefire M6, as I've finally decided to go for HIDs. No middle choices here. I want ultimate power! :naughty: That Oracle idea...

Sirefire M6 and MIcrofire WIII - beamshots comparison - where can I find them?

Thank you for your replies, guys! Andromeda - thanks for very interesting link, Patriot - thanks for beamshots and explanation. That runtime on SF M6 :shakehead... I would probably go for the MF (that beamshots-Microfire vs car lights, simply ). One thing worries me though. Is that beam...

Sirefire M6 and MIcrofire WIII - beamshots comparison - where can I find them?

OK, a bit of explanation. I'm totally aware, that these are completely different flashlight. By now, after 100s of hours spent on this forum I've narrowed my search to those two. I know what to expect - the Microfire Warrior III will pulverize (I like this word :grin2:) the M6 with no doubt...

Sirefire M6 and MIcrofire WIII - beamshots comparison - where can I find them?

Hi, Well, as described in the title. I cannot find such a comparison anywhere:thinking:. I would really appreciate, if you could help... These beamshots could be probably with some different test, just for reference, I think. Yeah, could be... Thanking you in advance for your eventual help!

Microfire Warrior III - few questions.

One more question - probably not the last here... What is the reasonable minimum time to have the MW III switched on? 10 seconds? 15 sec? By "reasonable" I mean the time, which is not harmfull to the bulb or ballast. You know, I'm still looking for that perfect thrower for me (with the good...

Microfire Warrior III - few questions.

Thanks for your replies, guys! Patriot - thank you for professional answers. I really DO appreciate them. As always, I can count on you, fellas! I will do some research now regarding Wiseled. Any doubts ant second thoughts I will post in separate thread. I think it can be useful somehow...

Microfire Warrior III - few questions.

Well, of course. My "2 minutes" example was deribelately exagerrated, kind of a joke... However this start up time makes Warrior III useless for me. What about Wiseled's reputation? I must admit - I am digging through this forum for some time now, but this is the first time I've seen that...
